AECC Summit 2022: OEM, MNO, and Cloud Connected Vehicle Services Leaders to Present

Dell, DENSO, Toyota, and other AECC Members Join Analyst Firm SBD Automotive to Present on Connected Vehicle Services Innovation

The AECC publicly announced that the two-hour virtual AECC Summit would involve the AECC members joining analyst firm SBD automotive and focusing on unlocking the cloud-connected vehicle services opportunity.

AECC Summit 2022

The two-hour virtual AECC Summit will be available in two sessions to cater to participants in different time zones. The Summit will discuss connected vehicle services such as data challenges, the best practices, and Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives.

The attendees will hear directly from AECC leadership regarding the optimisation of companies to deliver benefits to OEMs, MNOs, and the ecosystem of cloud and app service providers.

For Eastern North American and European attendees, the date of the AECC Summit session is June 14, 2022.

For Western North American and Asia Pacific attendees, the date of the AECC Summit session is June 21, 2022.

The AECC Summit is free but requires registration. It will inform attendees of the organisation’s mission, membership benefits, and the opportunities connected vehicle services offer OEMs, MNOs, and cloud providers.

Integration of Cloud Technology in Automobiles

Vehicles connected to the internet, either using Embedded or Tethered systems are known as connected vehicles. Connected vehicles benefit people by accessing the vehicle’s data, downloading software updates, connecting devices of passengers, fixing up security patches, as well as providing Internet connectivity in a seamless manner.

Through the integration of Cloud across connected vehicles, automobiles will generate route maps for drivers to reach on time, drivers will receive periodic updates regarding vehicle condition, maintenance checkups, repair, etc., and above all, multiple cars stay connected with each other to know the geographical location, safe driving distance, or to prevents accidents, etc.
