Maruti Suzuki Sets Up Car Manufacturing Facility in Haryana, India

Maruti Suzuki is set to start the new manufacturing plant in 2025 in Kharkhoda for an estimated Rs. 18,000 crore.

The new facility is touted to be a harbinger of positive changes for Haryana. It is expected to lead to a rise in employment opportunities in the state.

Maruti Suzuki is coming up with a new plant in Haryana. It is the third plant after Gurgaon and Manesar. They can produce up to 2.5 lakh cars. According to the Haryana Chief Minister, it is a massive achievement for the state. They have purchased 800 acres of land at IMT Kharkhoda for the new car manufacturing facility. This project costs about Rs. 18,000 crores. Additionally, this has opened up employment opportunities for people, with room for hiring close to 11000 people for the plant.

Maruti Suzuki’s decision to establish its car manufacturing facility in Haryana will boost the automobile sector. It will also encourage other MNCs to set their headquarters and manufacturing plants in Haryana.

They are known for exporting their automobiles to neighbouring countries. Their manufacturing plants are in Manesar, Rajasthan, Karnataka, and Gujarat.
