VOXX Automotive To Partner With ESS To Widen The Ambit of H.E.L.P.

The H.E.L.P. technology is all set to become accessible for all passengers with the new collaboration between ESS and VOXX Automotive to ensure the safety of vehicles on the road.

The Plus Points of the Collaboration

With the motive of broadening the scope of the H.E.L.P. (Hazard Enhanced Location Protocol) and making it available to motorists and commercial drivers, Emergency Safety Solutions, Inc., the creator of H.E.L.P., announced its partnership with VOXX Automotive on august 16, 2022. This will make the lifesaving H.E.L.P. technology available to the companies that manufacture and distribute solutions to the automakers. As a result, the Tier 1 suppliers, trucking, and Powersports markets will be able to put a significant stop to collisions that can occur with all vehicle types on the roadway. 

The Agreement

With this agreement, VOXX Automotive will be empowered to design and create OEM accessory kits, including the H.E.L.P. products, which will be sold through all VOXX Automotive channels. The kit will consist of products such as:

• H.E.L.P. Digital Alerts- notifications are sent to the drivers of the vehicles that are approaching a disabled vehicle 
• H.E.L.P. Lighting Alerts- which come as a hazard flash pattern to signal the oncoming drivers about an emergency so that they can slow down and cross the lane carefully
• Intelligent Controls- the controls that H.E.L.P. deployed in emergencies such as tire blowouts, collisions, driveline failures, etc. 
• H.E.L.P. Deliver SAFE- a specialized version of the H.E.L.P. made keeping in mind the needs of heavy-duty, long-haul, and commercial vehicles. 

According to Pat Lavelle, the President and the CEO of VOXX, partnering with Emergency Safety Solutions and the H.E.L.P. Intelligent Emergency Communication technology will H.E.L.P. them benefit more than 280 million vehicles in the US with this roadway safety opportunity.
