Exaktera LLC acquires Advanced Illumination Inc.

The acquisition was made with an ulterior motive of combining the world-famous LED solutions of Advanced Illumination with the pre-existing technologies and capabilities of Exaktera. 

On 6th September 2022, Exaktera LLC recently acquired Advanced Illumination Inc., a company that designs and manufactures LED lighting assemblies. Combined with optical and thermal designs and techniques, Advanced Illumination creates LED components, strobe sources, and current mode drivers. It was established in 1993 and has partnered with integrators, distributors, and OEMs to solve the most challenging problems of advanced lighting.

Phil Martin, the CEO of Exaktera in this regard, said that the products created by Advanced Illumination, especially LED solutions, are highly complementary to the existing capabilities of Exaktera. Coming together of both companies will serve the customers better. 

John Tharakill will remain the President of Advanced Illumination Inc. He believes this acquisition is a great opportunity for Advanced Illumination and all its employees to grow to the next level. The technical resources and global sales acquired will enhance the value provided to the customers.
