Kenworth T680 X15N to Go Green with the Hexagon Agility Fuel System

Discover how Kenworth is to feature Hexagon Agility’s renewable fuel system in its new Cummins X15N engine in Q3 2024.

Hexagon Agility, a leading provider of natural gas fuel systems, and Kenworth Truck Company, a top manufacturer of heavy-duty trucks, announced a partnership to showcase the new Kenworth T680 natural gas truck with the Cummins X15N engine at ACT Expo 2024.

“We are pleased to partner with Hexagon Agility to provide Kenworth customers with a natural-gas engine solution that will reduce emissions,” said Kyle Kimball, Kenworth’s Director of marketing. “This is a game-changer for the industry, enabling a powerhouse solution for long-haul fleets,” said Eric Bippus, EVP of Sales and Systems for Hexagon Agility.

The Cummins X15N is the industry’s first 15-liter natural gas engine, delivering diesel-like power, range, and performance. With up to 500 horsepower and 1850 lb.-ft of torque, the X15N makes natural gas a viable option for long-haul trucking. The launch of this engine is expected to triple the addressable market for heavy-duty natural gas trucks.

The new Kenworth T680 X15N equipped with Hexagon Agility’s fuel system will be on display at ACT Expo 2024, the largest clean fuel event in North America, held in Las Vegas, NV, from May 21-23. Visit Kenworth and Hexagon Agility at booth #3330.
