Revolutionizing Off-Roading: American Power Systems Introduces Dual Alternator Bracket Kit for Toyota Land Cruiser 300 at Eurosatory 2024
American Power Systems, Inc. (APS), a U.S.-based electrical solutions company, has introduced a dual alternator bracket kit for the Toyota Land Cruiser 300. It is fitted with a 3.5L twin-turbo petrol engine. It has already made its debut, where APS unveiled this latest LC300 series at Eurosatory 2024, which is the global safety and security trade show held in Paris from June 17th to the 21st.
The new dual alternator bracket kit enables users to increase the output of their Toyota Land Cruiser 300 with minimal changes to the original under-the-hood design. Specifically, Users can install APS’s high output alternator in 12-, 24-, or 48-volt options, allowing for 12-12, 12-24, or 12-48 secondary system configurations.
Introduced by Toyota Motor Corporation in March 2021, the all-terrain Land Cruiser 300 Series is a complete redesign of the previous 200 Series. Known for its reliability, durability and exceptional on-road performance, the Toyota Land Cruiser is a popular off-road vehicle.
Toyota’s safety and security vehicles are equipped with specialized equipment such as anti-IED jammers, communications systems, satellite equipment and cooling systems. According to APS President and CEO Amy Lank, this flexibility allows users to stay connected, collect data and perform monitoring activities. However, these new models increase the weight and power requirements of the vehicle beyond what the OEM system can handle. To overcome this, two alternator systems have been fitted to provide the necessary power boost, ensuring Toyota Land Cruiser 300s are mission-ready and safe for field operations.
In addition to the new dual alternator bracket kit, APS has previously introduced its Toyota Land Cruiser 300 product line, including 255- and 360-amp for 3.3L diesel and 3.5L petrol engines. APS also offers high-idle kits for the same.Â
