Dayin Technology Selects BlackBerry for Great Wall Motors’ Premium Next-Generation Vehicles

Premium vehicle lines Wey Mocha, Latte, and Macchiato from Great Wall Motors will employ the "Yin" 2.0 app, which will be powered by BlackBerry Limited and Shanghai Dayin Technology's BlackBerry® QNX® acoustics technology.

The “Yin” 2.0 app is integrated into Jiayu Tech’s (a subsidiary of Great Wall Motors) MoLife 1.0 intelligent cockpit. It will soon go into mass production with Great Wall Motors, one of China’s largest automakers. It offers an intuitive and immersive acoustic experience for drivers and passengers and is built on BlackBerry QNX® Active Sound Design (ASD) technology.

Leveraging BlackBerry leading software

Utilizing the cutting-edge Software-Defined Audio Architecture (SDAA) of BlackBerry QNX, the MoLife 1.0 intelligent cockpit offers several distinctive sound application features, such as an acoustic vehicle alert system, engine sound enhancements, and dynamic chimes. This helps control the overall aural experience inside and outside the vehicle. Dayin Technology can enhance, produce, and remove unwelcome cabin noise using various software tools included in BlackBerry QNX ASD. Dayin Technology can also automatically broadcast pedestrian noises to help increase traffic safety.

Completion of the project

Jiayu Tech is pleased to announce the completion of a detailed data-driven product design and development system. It helps the  manufacturers give their consumers the best-in-class vehicle acoustics experiences. This system took nearly three years to construct. Without the cooperation of BlackBerry QNX and Dayin Technology, this system would not have been conceivable. The automobile cockpit segment has been further expanded through the active collaboration between Dayin Technology and BlackBerry since 2019, resulting in cutting-edge technologies.
